Um aspeto interessante desta tecnologia \u00e9 facto de ser independente do fornecedor e pode ser executada at\u00e9 mesmo no hardware atual e anterior da rival Nvidia. Enquanto a DLSS \u00e9 restrita \u00e0 gama premium de GPUs GeForce RTX da Nvidia, a FSR pode rodar mesmo at\u00e9 em modelos GeForce GTX mais antigos e mais baratos. A AMD reclama um aumento de 2,4X nas taxas de frames em m\u00e9dia a 4K no modo de desempenho. Os desenvolvedores de jogos podem ajustar como a FSR impacta a nitidez em cada jogo. Num port\u00e1til com uma Radeon RX 6800M, o mesmo jogo a 1440p correu a uma m\u00e9dia de 66fps sem FSR, que saltou para 84fps a 108fps dependendo do modo FSR.
