Mas a Intel est\u00e1 a apostar que vai compensar, citando a procura cont\u00ednua de semicondutores em todo o mundo. &#8220;O mundo tem uma procura insaci\u00e1vel de chips&#8221;, disse Gelsinger. &#8220;E como o mundo est\u00e1 a tornar-se mais digital, os chips est\u00e3o a tornar-se mais cr\u00edticos do que nunca&#8221;.<\/p><p>Nos EUA, a Intel est\u00e1 a investir 20 mil milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares para construir uma nova f\u00e1brica de chips perto de Columbus, Ohio.
