N\u00e3o se sabe ao certo quando o problema come\u00e7ou, mas foi destacado na tarde de s\u00e1bado num post de Tom Coates, e um vtuber brasileiro, @DaniloTakagi, havia apontado o problema alguns dias antes.<\/p><p>Atualmente, os tweets publicados antes de dezembro de 2014 parecem afetados, a julgar pelos posts vis\u00edveis na minha pr\u00f3pria conta. N\u00e3o \u00e9 claro se essa imagem foi restaurada manualmente, mas ainda era vis\u00edvel no s\u00e1bado \u00e0 tarde.<\/p><p>O momento para o corte em imagens e links que n\u00e3o est\u00e3o a funcionar parece relacionado a mudan\u00e7as que o Twitter fez em 2016, adicionando &#8220;enriquecimento de URL melhorado&#8221; para mostrar visualiza\u00e7\u00f5es de sites vinculados e anexos nativos que n\u00e3o contavam com o limite de 140 caracteres do Twitter. Before this time, the Tweet payloads included only the URL as provided by the user. So, if the user included a shortened URL it can be challenging to match on (expanded) URLs of interest. With both Historical PowerTrack and the Search APIs, these metadata are available starting in March 2012.\n\nIn July 2016, the enhanced URL enrichment was introduced. This enhanced version provides a web site\u2019s HTML title and description in the Tweet payload, along with Operators for matching on those. With Historical PowerTrack, these metadata become available in July 2016. With the Search APIs, these metadata begin emerging in December 2014.\n\nIn September 2016 Twitter introduced \u2018native attachments\u2019 where a trailing shared link is not counted against the 140 Tweet character limit.
