Dentro de pouco tempo, a mem\u00f3ria RAM que ir\u00e1 tornar-se mais comum passar\u00e1 a ser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcdiga.com\/blog\/noticias\/os-primeiros-modulos-de-memoria-ddr5\/\">DDR5<\/a>, que j\u00e1 existe, mas est\u00e1 ainda numa fase inicial de implementa\u00e7\u00e3o no mercado. Os n\u00fameros marcam a gera\u00e7\u00e3o da RAM. Cada gera\u00e7\u00e3o possui e disponibiliza velocidades mais r\u00e1pidas devido \u00e0 largura de banda cada vez mais ampla que se traduz em frequ\u00eancias mais elevadas (MHz). Nas consolas de videojogos, por exemplo, pode ser utilizada para indicar a mem\u00f3ria do sistema, mas em qualquer caso, est\u00e1 sempre relacionada com a mem\u00f3ria reservada exclusivamente para a GPU.
